Return & Refund Policy

At PAWAN KUMAR SINGH (SignXpert India), we are committed to delivering reliable Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) services through licensed Certifying Authorities (CAs). Due to the secure and non-transferable nature of DSCs, the following Return & Refund Policy applies.

  1. Nature of Product / Service

Digital Signature Certificates are:

  • Digitally issued security credentials
  • Unique to the applicant
  • Non-transferable and non-reusable
  • Governed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)

Once generated, a DSC cannot be returned like a physical product.

  1. No Return or Refund After Issuance

Return or refund requests will NOT be accepted once:

  • The DSC application is approved by the Certifying Authority
  • The DSC is issued
  • The certificate is downloaded, installed, or activated
  • Aadhaar eKYC / Video verification is successfully completed
  • USB token (if applicable) is shipped or delivered

All fees paid after issuance are strictly non-refundable.

  1. Refund Before Issuance

Refund requests may be considered only if:

  • DSC has not been issued
  • Verification is not completed or approved
  • Processing has not reached final approval stage
  • Request is made within 24 hours of payment

Approved refunds may be subject to deductions for:

  • Payment gateway charges
  • Administrative / processing fees
  • Token dispatch charges (if already shipped)

Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

  1. Application Rejection by Certifying Authority

If the application is rejected by the Certifying Authority for reasons not attributable to the applicant, the customer may choose:

  • Full or partial refund (after applicable deductions), OR
  • Free resubmission after correction of documents

No refund will be provided if rejection occurs due to:

  • Incorrect or false information submitted
  • Document mismatch
  • Failure to complete verification
  • Non-submission of required documents within the specified time
  1. Incorrect Details Provided by Applicant

Refunds will not be issued for errors such as:

  • Wrong name, PAN, Aadhaar, or organization details
  • Selection of incorrect certificate type
  • Duplicate applications submitted by mistake
  • Failure to follow verification instructions

A new application with applicable fees will be required.

  1. USB Token Return Policy (If Applicable)
  • USB tokens are security devices and cannot be returned once delivered
  • Replacement is provided only for manufacturing defects reported within 1 days of delivery
  • Physical damage or misuse is not covered
  1. Revocation of Issued DSC

An issued DSC cannot be returned but may be revoked.

Revocation may be requested if:

  • Token/private key is lost or compromised
  • Authorized signatory changes
  • Certificate is no longer required

No refund is applicable after revocation.

  1. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method only
  • Processing time: 7–10 working days
  • Bank or gateway delays are beyond our control
